In-class Exercise: IM leagues

When first given this assignment I could not think of a website that I really like or disliked, but then i starting to think about work and the website came to mind. I work for the Campus Recreation center here at UTSA in the Sport Programs department. We are in charge of  Intramural and we have to use a website called imleagues.com, which can be a pain in the butt to use sometimes. Especially as student user trying to create a team. The design of the website is horrible, it is too cluttered. And the primarily cause of the cluttered are the advertisements and the alignment of the advertisements looks as if they were just splashed on there. It has semi-organization in the website, but it could be hard to find rules of the different sports or to find teams that you want to join. For my job, trying to explain were the player could find something on the website could be really hard if we cannot pull up the website it self. How I Made My Blog Look Better

In my original blog it did have much contrast of design. I made the design of the blog better by selecting a theme that corresponding to the theme of the post; having contrasting colors and having "University of Texas at San Antonio" in bold. I made my blog look better by aligning the text of the page to center to match the picture of the blog. I also changed to font of my text, to give it more personality and increased the size of it as well. I also corrected the grammatical errors and syntax errors that I had in the original post.

Why I want a degree from UTSA?

The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) is a relatively new university in  the state of Texas and was once known as small, and not viewed as in high standing.  UTSA is currently viewed as a growing and soon to be  top  tier  university. At the beginning of my senior year of high school, I was  looking  at what major I wanted and what college to attend. UTSA was not one of fi rst choices. I got accepted into all the colleges that I applied for, including UTSA. I t was the Communication major that UTSA offered that I entice me to go, along with the university  being close to home in San Antonio. The Communication degree with a concentration  in  Digital Media stood out to me personally. I wanted a degree that was diverse and could be easily applied to  any business. San Antonio is a growing city that is cultivating in new businesses, along with ample  opportunity for internships and networking.
